As coaches, we can’t just force our preferences and style of play onto a group of players. We need to adapt our playing style to match our players’ strengths.
You are only one person. To expect an entire team of kids to adjust to your way in three or four months is unrealistic and selfish. To get the best out of your players and put them in a position to succeed you need to adapt your style to suit them.
