Mike Katz, Humber College (Now Retired)
Today we are lucky to have coach Mike Katz on the show. He won an amazing five national championships during his 19 seasons with Humber College. He also coached the University of Toronto and was named national coach of the year in 2008. And he spent time as an assistant coach with the Canadian men’s national team. He’s since retired from coaching but acts as a consultant for multiple programs across Ontario.
In this interview you’ll get a clear sense of what it takes to be a successful basketball coach. Coach Katz never stopped learning throughout his career and valued building relationships with everyone in his program.
