7. Screening the Zone
On ball and off-ball screens are my favorite way to create mini advantages against a zone defense. In this module I’m going to recommend a few plays that you can add to your playbook.
Not all the screens on a zone need to be a ball screen, here are the link for the plays in the video above, a couple of the plays use off-ball screens to create mini advantages.
Half Court vs 2-3 Zone – 5 Out, Shot for 1
Half Court vs 1-3-1 Zone – 4 Out, Lob for 4
Half Court vs 2-3 Zone – Double Ball Screen
