Hi Megan
Thank you so much for the comments. As you are well aware, it’s very difficult to maintain a level of sanity when the kids are tiny under NORMAL circumstances. Nothing about being a coach’s spouse is normal, but as you said, we get through and make it work!!
I will say that I do understand you feeling guilty about bringing your son to the gym but as I said, he is seeing that as normal so carry on, GUILT FREE! Mothers wear that guilt badge far too often.
Thanks again. It’s nice to hear from someone who knows exactly where I am coming from and having some of my thoughts and feelings validated is much appreciated.

Hi, Stacey!
Thanks for sharing your story! It's a really important one! I coach with the Mohawk Women's team--and while I'm a Coach and a Coaches' Wife, I understand the challenges and the prioritizing that you go through! I've seen the determination Brian has to get home after a long road trip (like the wintry Sault trip 3 years ago when we all REFUSED to stay a extra night away from our families). I struggle with the guilt of bringing my baby son with me to practices and games, and even guilt over missing swimming lessons because we play on Tuesday nights sometimes--but at least we still get our quality time. We "get through" to March Break, recover in April and get back at it in May! My family doesn't get it. That's one of the toughest parts for sure! Thanks so much for all that you do for the athletes and your family. Thanks for bringing more light to the value of Coaches' Spouses.
