Self-Awareness is critical to implementing every step of the Basketball Coaching Roadmap. If you don’t have the ability to step outside of yourself and honestly evaluate yourself and your surroundings then you will find it extremely difficult achieving your coaching goals. You will find yourself confused and frustrated at your team’s lack of success and your inability to connect with your players. In this episode my brothers, Brian and Brady and I discuss the importance of being a coach who is self-aware and how you can gain self-awareness.

This episode is the final installment of the Basketball Coaching Roadmap. Each part focused on one specific area where successful coaches shine. We shared some stories, re-lived experiences and explored the impact coaches can have on their players. If you haven’t done so already, go back and listen to the previous episodes.

The Basketball Coaching Roadmap can be your off-season coaching course. Our goal is to add a little more to your coaching portfolio with each episode and by next season you’ll be ready to shine.
